For the Spring Bank Holiday weekend, we travelled over the Scottish border to Volksfling in Biggar.

We’ve been to this show a few times over the years, but it’s the first time in a long while that we visited the show as a club.

Although it rained… a lot…it didn’t dampen the spirits of the show. There was still plenty going on across the show field and in the marquees to keep everyone occupied.

Free bouncy castles, crafting and entertainers for the kids are a great feature of Volksfling. The kids even took part in a ‘box car’ race. A wide variety of traders, live bands and the cars are great for the adults too!

We carried on with our 66^thyear celebrations and brought cake along to share too.

We even had an impromptu mini gathering of emergency VWs too, complete with flashing blue lights and sirens.

There were so many great VWs on display, it’s hard to pick a favourite. Instead, we’ll share a few that caught our eye.
